The Harvard men's tennis team competed at the I-64 Challenge hosted by William & Mary this weekend in its final event of the fall season. Harvard competed against VCU, William & Mary, and Old Dominion in the event, with individual awards presented for top performing players in singles and doubles based on record. Junior Kenny Tao was named the tournament's singles champion, as Tao had a record of 3-0 playing in the top flight. Tao was joined on the all-tournament team by senior Brian Yeung, who also had an unblemished 3-0 record playing in flight two of singles play.

Harvard's doubles tandem featuring captains Jean Thirouin and Sebastian Beltrame earned a spot on the doubles all-tournament team by virtue of winning matches on Saturday and Sunday in which they were paired together. Thirouin finished the weekend with a perfect record in doubles play, as he paired with freshman Logan Weber for a victory over VCU in second flight doubles on day one of the event.

Harvard returns to open the spring/indoor season with the Harvard Showdown, beginning on Jan. 21, 2017 at Murr Center.
