No. 49 Men’s Tennis Tripped Up vs. No. 46 Denver, 4-3

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – No. 49 Harvard men's tennis (9-7) fell to No. 46 Denver (10-5), 4-3 Friday afternoon at the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center.

The Crimson dropped the doubles point with losses at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Nicky Hu defeated Henry Crag in three sets at the No. 1 position, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. Harvard earned a point from the No. 3 position as Kenny Tao took David Fox to three sets, coming back from a 6-3 loss to win, 3-6, 6-0, 6-1.

Freshman Christopher Morrow was the other winner for the Crimson, battling Zach Fryer (6-4, 4-6, 7-5). Brian Yeung nearly knocked off Alex Gasson at the No. 4 position, but fell in the third set after two tie-breaking sets (6-7 (9), 7-6 (4), 6-3).  

Harvard will play San Diego State University on their court tomorrow at 1 p.m.
