CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis announced the addition of four student-athletes to the roster for the 2015-16 season Thursday.
"We are delighted to announce next year's incoming freshmen and look forward to welcoming them on campus in August," said associate head coach Andrew Rueb. "As a group, I believe their character and work ethic stand out as unifying characteristics. Individually, they bring an array of talents and skills, but will all have to work hard to prove themselves and make the team better. The class hails from as far as San Francisco (Andy Zhou) and across the "pond" in England (Chris Morrow), as well as the Midwest in St. Louis (Michael Peters) and Wichita (Sam Beren). We wish them well in their summer competitive season and await their arrival on campus for the beginning of an exciting journey at Harvard."
The Crimson's new additions rank No. 14 on the Top 25 Recruiting Classes list by the Tennis Recruiting Network. The Crimson is coming off its fourth-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, as senior captain Denis Nguyen appeared in the second round of the NCAA tournament in singles, along with a doubles appearance in the first round with sophomore Brian Yeung.
