Men’s Tennis Opens at No. 29 in ITA Rankings

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's tennis opened at No. 29 in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in its preseason poll. The Crimson, who finished last season at No. 28, open next weekend at home against William & Mary and Marist.

Senior Denis Nguyen sits at No. 57 to open the season, while sophomore Sebastian Beltrame holds the No. 86 spot. As a pair, Nguyen and sophomore Brian Yeung registered a No. 6 ranking in the men's national doubles rankings.

After opening at home, the Crimson will travel to Berkeley to face host and No. 15 California and either No. 63 Michigan State or No. 28 NC State the weekend of Jan. 23-24. Harvard also travels to Evanston, Illinois to face No. 33 Boise State and No. 34 Northwestern Feb. 7-8.
