Felton, Crimson Doubles Teams Lead Harvard at Chowder Fest

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior Alistair Felton was named the Harvard weekend MVP and the doubles team of Felton and Andy Nguyen won the second doubles flight to highlight a strong performance by the Harvard men's tennis team at its own Chowder Fest hosted at the Beren Tennis Center.

Felton won all three of his singles matches in the tournament and won two of three doubles matches with Nguyen to lead the Crimson. Felton never lost serve in singles play all weekend.

In other singles play, junior Jonathan Pearlman played at the No. 1 slot Saturday and defeated Minnesota's No. 1 player, Sebastian Gallego, 6-2, 6-7, 6-2.

The doubles teams of Casey MacMaster and Brendan Seaver, and Christo Schultz and Pearlman, also won their matches Sunday, defeating teams from South Carolina and Notre Dame, respectfully.

Harvard now looks forward to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Americans tournament from Friday to Sunday in Tulsa, Okla.
