Watts, DeCaprio Compete on 1-Meter Board at NCAA Zone A Diving Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Harvard duo of Hal Watts and Alec DeCaprio competed on the 1-meter board at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships Monday afternoon at Navy's Lejeune Hall.

Watts and DeCaprio both made it to the finals after preliminary scores of 290.05 and 284.75, respectively. Watts' effort ranked 12th, while DeCaprio came in 16th.

In the finals, the Crimson tandem attempted another six dives with Watts ultimately finishing with a score of 598.05, to finish in 11th place. DeCaprio, meanwhile, maintained his position, coming in 16th place with a 566.60 effort.

Watts, DeCaprio and Austin Fields will now prepare for Tuesday's session on the 3-meter board. The competition is set to begin at noon.
