Logan Houck Named To 2018-19 USA Swimming National Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Senior distance swimmer Logan Houck was selected to the 2018-19 USA Swimming National Team announced Wednesday morning.   

The USA Swimming National Team roster features the top six swimmers in each individual Olympic event based off the combined results of the 2018 Phillips 66 National Championships, 2018 Pan Pacific Championships, and 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championships.

Houck was named to the team after placing fifth in the 800 freestyle with a time of 7:54.80 at Summer National Championships in Irvine, California. Last season, the Las Vegas native earned All-America honorable mention in the 1,650 freestyle and 500 freestyle, while earning second team All-Ivy honors in the 1,000 freestyle and 1,650 freestyle.

Additionally, Kevin Tyrrell, the Ulen-Brooks Endowed Coach for Harvard Men's Swimming and Diving, was named a coach for the 2018-19 National Team.
