Ross Finishes Seventh in Finals of One-Meter Dive at NCAA Zone Diving Championships

Senior diver Bobby Ross finishes seventh in the one-meter dive at NCAA Zone Diving Championships (Gil Talbot). 

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – On the second day of the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships, Harvard senior Bobby Ross posted a seventh-place finish in the finals of the men's one-meter dive competition.

The Connecticut native advanced to the finals after placing 16th, posting a score of 293.70 in the preliminary round. In the finals, Ross came one spot away from qualifying for the national tournament in Minneapolis, finishing with a score of 627.65.

In the women's three-meter dive, junior Mikaela Thompson posted a score of 200.75 to place 43rd in the prelims.
