CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The second-ranked Harvard men's squash team earned its third win of the season with an 8-1 victory over MIT at the Murr Center Courts Friday.
Harvard was led by the strong leadership of their top three, first-year Marwan Tarek, junior Timothy Brownell and sophomore Samuel Scherl who each earned victories in three games.
First-year George Crowne, junior Sean Hughes, sophomore Adam Corcoran and senior Theodore Mendez also added three-game victories.
Harvard Highlights:
- The team's top three of Tarek, Brownell and Scherl led the charge for the Crimson, each allowing only 11 points to their respective opponents.
- Senior Rana Bansal battled back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat MIT's Neel Das in five games.
- Harvard moves to 55-2 all-time against MIT.
