CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 5 Harvard men's squash team opened the 2016-17 season with an 8-1 victory over Dartmouth in Ivy League action on Wednesday afternoon. The Crimson swept all three games from the No. 2 to No. 6 positions.
Harvard (1-0, 1-0 Ivy) earned victories at the No. 1 to No. 8 positions, dominating the Big Green (2-3, 0-1 Ivy) throughout the match. Five different Crimson recorded sweeps as Harvard was unbeaten from the No. 2 to No. 6 spots.
Senior captain Bryan Koh, juniors Bradley Smith, Madhav Dhinga, and David Ryan, along with freshman Timothy Brownell all collected 3-0 decisions.
Freshman Saadeldin Abouaish opened his career in Crimson with a 3-1 victory, while senior Dylan Murray and sophomore Alexi Gosset battled to 3-2 and 3-1 decisions, respectively.
Harvard will return to action on January 13 when it travels to Philadelphia, Pa. to take on Drexel at 2 p.m.
