Freese, Brown Earn Men’s Soccer All-Ivy Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore goalkeeper Matt Freese and senior midfielder Sam Brown have earned All-Ivy accolades, as announced by the conference today. Freese landed a spot on the Second Team All-Ivy for the first time in his career while Brown was named honorable mention, the third All-Ivy postseason award of his career. 

This season, Freese appeared in 13 games for the Crimson, recording 70 saves which ranked third in the league. His 5.38 saves per game average led all players in the Ancient Eight and he earned three winning decisions on the pitch. 

Brown took the field in 13 games this season, splitting time between midfield and defense. The Ann Arbor, Mich. native scored against No. 5 Denver and totaled six shots this season.
