CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Searching for its 14th Ivy League title, Harvard men's soccer announced its fall 2018 schedule. The slate features six home contests at Jordan Field or Ohiri Field.
The Crimson opens with a night game on the road against Albany on August 31 before returning home for a pair of matches against Providence (Sept. 3) and UMass Lowell (Sept. 6). Harvard returns to the pitch three days later, traveling to New York City for a Sunday evening contest against Hofstra on Sept. 9.
Harvard hits the road the following weekend, flying to the Mile High City for two games in three days against Denver (Sept. 14) and the Air Force Academy (Sept. 16). After arriving back in Cambridge, the Crimson hosts Boston University on Sept. 19 before opening Ivy League play against, rival, Yale in a late Saturday afternoon match on Sept. 29.
Breaking from Ivy action, Harvard travels to Durham, N.H. for a midweek match against New Hampshire on Oct. 2. The Wildcats finished the 2017 season at No. 17 in the United Soccer Coaches rankings.
Harvard returns to conference play the following weekend hosting Cornell on Oct. 6 before beginning a stretch of five road games against Boston College, Brown, Princeton, Dartmouth and Northeastern through the end of October.
The Crimson wraps up its home schedule against Columbia, who finished 2017 at No. 25 in the rankings, on Nov. 3 before closing out the regular season at Penn on Nov. 10.
