  • Dogan Nets OT Winner to Send Men’s Soccer Past Boston University

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men’s soccer team (2-5-0) rallied from a 1-0 deficit to overcome Boston University (1-4-2) in overtime, securing a 2-1 win on Wednesday night at Jordan Field. Taner Dogan made the final strike, recording his second goal of the season while Cesar Farias Jr. tallied the equalizer late in the second half. Paolo Belloni-Urso added his team-leading third assist of the season on Dogan’s game-winner while Nate Devine registered his first assist on Farias Jr.’s score.

    Senior captain Sam Brown scored the lone goal in Harvard men’s soccer’s Friday night clash with No. 5 Denver (5-0-1). The Crimson (1-4-0) dropped a 3-1 decision but broke a two-game scoring drought with Brown’s goal.

    ALBANY, N.Y. – With 28 seconds remaining in overtime, the Harvard men’s soccer team (0-1) fell to Albany (2-1) 3-2 in its season opener on Friday night. Despite the loss, the Crimson led twice during the match off the boots of Alex Debayo-Doherty and Taner Dogan.
  • Men’s Soccer Opens 2018 Campaign at Albany, Welcomes Providence

    The Harvard men’s soccer team is set to open the 2018 campaign, bookending Labor Day weekend with a road match at Albany on Aug. 31 before welcoming Providence to Jordan Field for its home opener on Sept. 3. Kickoff for both games is set for 7 p.m.

    Harvard Athletics and NESN have announced an extended agreement that will see three home events broadcast on the network this fall. The package opens with women’s soccer hosting Maine Sept. 5, continues when men’s soccer welcomes UMass Lowell the following day, and concludes with football’s bout against Columbia Nov. 3.
