The sophomore netted his first goal of the season against the Big Green (Gil Talbot).

PRINCETON, N.J. – After scoring heroically in the closing minutes on Saturday, junior Sam Brown has been named the Ivy League Player of the Week for Oct. 24-30, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Brown tallied a goal and two assists on the week in a pair of victories over New Hampshire and Dartmouth. The Ann Arbor, Michigan native set up both Harvard goals against the Wildcats, including a golden goal winner in the closing minutes of double overtime. He then scored the game-winning goal against Dartmouth from 25 yards in the 80th minute, giving the Crimson sole possession of first place in the Ivy League.

The award was Harvard's second player of the week honor this season, as junior Kyle Parks claimed the recognition Oct. 17.
