PRINCETON, N.J. – Freshman midfielder Taner Dogan, of the Harvard men's soccer team, has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for Oct. 17-23, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Dogan scored for the second time in three games, opening the scoring against Princeton after he volleyed home a long throw-in from junior Justin Crichlow. The goal, which was the second of Dogan's career, helped push the Crimson's unbeaten streak to seven games.
Harvard men's soccer travels to New Hampshire on Tuesday, Oct. 25 before hitting the road for Dartmouth on Saturday, Oct. 28.
