PRINCETON, N.J. – After scoring a game-winning goal in his collegiate debut against Villanova, freshman Matthew Glass was selected as the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for Aug. 30-Sept. 4.
Glass netted the game-winner against the Wildcats in a 2-1 victory, placing a first-time shot from 15 yards in the top-right corner. The score gave Harvard a 2-0 lead, assisted by senior Jake Freeman and sophomore Cesar Farias.
Harvard men's soccer hosts Seattle and Washington to complete its four-game homestand Sept 8 and 11 at Jordan Field. The contests will be broadcast on the Ivy League Digital Network.
