    After leading Harvard on the pitch in 2016, Harvard men’s soccer’s Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu was selected with the second pick of the third round in the Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft Tuesday by Atlanta United FC. Wheeler-Omiunu is the eighth student-athlete in program history to be selected in the draft, and the first since 2013.

    Led to victory after an 80th-minute goal from junior Sam Brown, Harvard men’s soccer took sole possession of first place in the Ivy League with a 1-0 victory at Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon in Hanover. Harvard improved to 103-2 in the season with an unbeaten 4-0-1 mark in Ivy action, while Dartmouth dropped to 5-4-5 on the season with a 3-1-1 mark in the Ancient Eight.

Harvard improved to 8-3-2 on the season, including a 3-0-1 first place mark in the Ivy League, while Princeton dropped to 6-7-1 with a 0-3-1 record in conference play.
