Dornbach Named ECAC Hockey Player of the Month

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore forward Casey Dornbach was named ECAC Hockey Player of the Month, the conference announced today (Dec. 4).

Dornbach was the top per-game scorer in ECAC Hockey during the month of November, recording 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in seven games for an average of 1.71 points per game. He had four multiple point efforts during the month. In Harvard's season opener, he matched a career high with three assists, and was plus-3 in a 7-3 win over Dartmouth.

On Nov. 9 vs. No. 15 Quinnipiac, he paced the Crimson with a goal and two assists in a 7-2 win. He added a goal at Brown on Nov. 16, and recorded his first career hat trick on Nov. 22, helping Harvard move to 6-3 on the season.

Behind Dornbach's big month, Harvard went 6-1-0 (6-0-0 ECAC Hockey) during the month of November, and surged into the top-10 of the national rankings for the first time in two years.
