Men's Ice Hockey Celebrates 30th Anniversary of 1989 National Title

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Thirty years ago, Harvard and Minnesota met famously in the 1989 NCAA title game at the St. Paul Civic Center on April 1, 1989, with Ed Krayer scoring the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Crimson to its first national championship. Then-sophomore Ted Donato scored twice in the game, and earned Most Outstanding Player honors.

With the 2019 Frozen Four approaching, several outlets have taken a look back at the incredible 1988-89 Harvard men's ice hockey team, and a memorable season crafted by a uniquely talented group of young men:
