Sophomore forward Jack Badini had a big weekend (2-2-4) in wins against No. 9/10 Clarkson and St. Lawrence.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore forward Jack Badini earned ECAC Hockey Player of the Week honors, the conference announced today (Jan. 28).
Badini led Harvard with four points (two goals, two assists) in wins against No. 9/10 Clarkson and St. Lawrence this past weekend. The Old Greenwich, Conn. native matched a career high with three points (2-1-3), and had his first multiple-goal game in the win on Friday against Clarkson. He won the key faceoff in overtime that set up Reilly Walsh's game-winning goal.
On Saturday against St. Lawrence, Badini added an assist to complete a solid weekend, where he was plus-3 overall. Badini, who is No. 2 in the nation on faceoffs (67.0% win percentage), went 16-9 on draws this past weekend.
Harvard continues its ECAC Hockey home stand on Friday night (Feb. 1, 7:30 p.m.) against Dartmouth. The game will air on NESN/ESPN+.
