Zerter-Gossage Named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –
Junior forward Lewis Zerter-Gossage has been named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week, the conference announced today.

Zerter-Gossage had his best weekend of the season, leading Harvard with five points (three goals, two assists) in games at No. 2/2 Clarkson (T, 6-6) and St. Lawrence (W, 4-3, OT).

Zerter-Gossage had two goals against Clarkson, including the game-tying goal with under a minute to play and an extra attacker on the ice for the Crimson. He added a goal and two assists against St. Lawrence the next night, matching a season high with three points. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Zerter-Gossage is tied for the team lead with 12 assists, and is second on the team with 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) overall this season.

Harvard returns to Bright-Landry Hockey Center next weekend to host No. 2 Cornell and Colgate. The Crimson will take on the Big Red on Friday night with puck drop at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.
