Tringale Signs Professional Contract in France

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Recent co-captain Devin Tringale has signed a professional contract with Les Rapaces De Gap (The Raptors of Gap) of Ligue Magnus, the top league in France, as announced by the team Monday.

Tringale has been a constant in the Harvard lineup, skating in 131 games during his four years in Cambridge. The local product from Medford, Massachusetts was elected captain by his teammates prior to the season. He had a career-best six points as a senior, including the game-winning goal at Princeton.

Tringale has helped the Crimson to two ECAC Hockey Tournament titles, two Ivy League titles, three-straight NCAA Tournament appearances and a Frozen Four appearance this season.

Tringale is the fifth member of Harvard's class of 2017 that has signed a contract to play professionally next year.
