ALBANY, N.Y. – Freshman Adam Fox has been named the ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday. The award is the first of Fox's career.
In Harvard's 5-2 win over Bentley, Fox opened the score with a power play goal at 12:31 of the first period. The goal was the first of the Jericho, New York natives career. He also went on to dish out two assists in the Crimson victory.
Fox is tied for the team-lead with 10 assists through the first nine games. He is tied for third nationally (with teammate Alexander Kerfoot) for third nationally in assists per game at 1.11. and leads all defensemen in the country with a 1.22 points per game mark.
Harvard heads to North Country this weekend for conference games against St. Lawrence and Clarkson.
