Men’s Hockey Places 25 on ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team

Alexander Kerfoot is one of 24 Harvard student-athletes selected to the ECAC All-Academic Team (Gil Talbot).

ALBANY, N.Y. – Exhibiting the same success in the classroom that it has displayed on the ice in recent years, the Harvard men's hockey team had 24 student-athletes selected to the 2015-16 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

Thomas Aiken led the Harvard contingent as its Commissioner's List selection as the Crimson's top scholar for the academic year. In addition to Aiken's stellar academic record, five student-athlete's commenced their careers with their fourth selection to the ECAC All-Academic Team. Those five players are: Colin Blackwell, Desmond Bergin, two-time ECAC Student-Athlete of the Year Kyle Criscuolo, Peter Traber and 2016 Hobey Baker Award winner Jimmy Vesey.

Earning their third selection to the academic team are: Alexander Kerfoot">Luke Esposito, Greg Gozzo, Brayden Jaw, Alexander Kerfoot, Victor Newell and Devin Tringale.

Players are eligible for the all-academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.
