Harvard men's hockey will add eight freshmen for the 2016-17 season (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Ted Donato '91, The Robert D. Ziff '88 Head Coach for Harvard Men's Ice Hockey, has announced the addition of eight student-athletes to the Crimson as the class of 2020.
The incoming freshmen class is comprised of five forwards, two defensemen and one goalie. Five of the newcomers hail from five different states in the U.S., with three coming from Canada. Two of the rookies, Adam Fox (Calgary) and John Marino (Edmonton) have been drafted by NHL teams in the last two entry drafts, while a third, Colton Kerfoot, will be joining his brother and co-captain Alexander '17 on the squad.
Harvard is coming off its second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance and its second-consecutive trip to the ECAC Tournament Finals. The Crimson garnered tournament titles last season at the Shillelagh and Mariucci en route to locking up its first Ivy League championship since 2006.
