CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--Inside College Hockey has named Harvard's David Valek its National Player of the Week after the junior scored four goals to lead the Crimson men's hockey team to a weekend sweep of St. Lawrence and Clarkson to clinch third place in the final ECAC Hockey standings.

Valek scored twice in each game of the weekend. In Saturday's regular-season finale, he netted the tying and winning goals in the third period, lifting Harvard to a 3-2 win against the Golden Knights. He also blocked eight shots during the weekend, including six in Friday's 4-1 defeat of the Saints.
