Men’s Golf Gets Past Columbia, 11.5-3.5

PRINCETON, N.J. – Wrapping up its fall slate with a match play meeting against Columbia, Harvard topped the Lions, 11.5-3.5, on Sunday at the Rockaway Hunt Club.

The event was split into two 18-hole segments, with the teams playing alternate shot in the morning, and singles play in the afternoon. The Crimson took a two-point lead into the second 18 holes, 3.5-1.5, with the pairs of Brian Isztwan and Oliver Cordeiro, Ryan Rhee and Brian Ma, and Peter George and Grant Fairbairn earning victories during the alternate shot section.

Harvard won eight of the 10 singles matches to secure the victory, 11.5-3.5.
