    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Led by head coach Peter Brand in his 20th season at the helm, the Harvard men’s fencing team has announced three additions to its roster. The Class of 2022 consists of Andrew Lee, Jason Oh and Dan Solomon.
  • Dershwitz Ranked No. 1 in the World

    WUXI, China – Becoming just the second U.S. fencer in history to win a Senior World medal in men’s saber, senior co-captain Eli Dershwitz of the Harvard men’s fencing team climbed from No. 3 to No. 1 in the world rankings after his impressive performance at the Senior World Championships in Wuxi, China this weekend. With his second-place finish, Dershwitz became the first U.S. men’s saber fencer to win the Overall World Cup title.
  • Men’s Fencing Announces 2018-19 Captains

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior Eli Dershwitz and junior Duncan Rheingans-Yoo will lead the Harvard men’s fencing team as captains for the 2018-19 campaign. As all captains at Harvard, the leadership posts were determined based on an election of the student-athletes on the team.
  • Men’s and Women’s Fencing Reveals 2018-19 Schedule

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Coming off a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Championships last season, head coach Peter Brand has announced the Harvard men’s and women’s fencing 2018-19 schedule. The Crimson will kick-off its 2018-19 campaign at the Penn State Open Saturday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 4 in State College, Pa. Nearly a month later, the men and women will travel to Sacred Heart on Dec. 2 to compete in the Sacred Heart Invitational. The Crimson will face host Sacred Heart, NYU, Penn State, Temple and Vassar. The women’s team will begin its home slate that same week, hosting Wellesley and Tufts on Dec. 4.
