CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 4 Harvard lightweight crew will race on the Charles for the second of three-straight weekends, as the Crimson hosts No. 5 Navy and No. 8 Delaware in the Haines Cup Saturday, April 22.

Harvard-Navy Series
Harvard has dominated the history of the Haines Cup against Navy, winning 42 of the 50 races since the first event in 1958. Following a seven-year Crimson winning streak from 2009-15, the Midshipmen topped the Crimson last year by a 5:47.4 to 5:48.5 margin. 

Scouting No. 5 Navy
The Midshipmen are coming off a four-race sweep of Georgetown on the Potomac River last weekend. Shawn Bagnall is in his fifth season as Navy's men's lightweight head coach. 

Last Season
Harvard finished sixth at the IRA National Championships and won the petite final at Eastern Sprints a year ago. 

In the Launch
Billy Boyce is in his first season as the Friends of Harvard Lightweight Rowing Coach for Men's Lightweight Crew. Boyce had spent the last five seasons as an assistant coach with the Crimson's men's heavyweight staff. Boyce owns a 5-1 overall record as head coach
