Men’s Lightweight Crew Second Varsity Takes 10th at HOCR

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's lightweight crew second varsity boat placed 10th overall and ninth among the collegiate squads at the 52nd Head of the Charles Regatta Sunday afternoon.

The Crimson finished the course in 16:27.661, while Ivy League rival Cornell took second with a time of 15:42.889. Western Ontario won the gold medal by clocking in at 15:41.440.

The first varsity was in second place at the midway point of the race, but a medical issue forced the boat to not finish the race.

The lightweight fours earned a seventh place finish and was sixth among collegiate teams with a time of 19:00.989.
