No. 3 Men’s Heavyweight Crew Secures Adams Cup, Remains Undefeated

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 3 Harvard men's heavyweight crew team preserved its unbeaten record today, defeating both No. 12 Navy and No. 11 Penn to earn the Adams Cup on the Charles River. Nearly sweeping the competition, the Crimson captured the win in each race except for the fifth varsity eight.

Harvard's first varsity eight dominated against the Midshipmen and Quakers, besting second-place Navy by wide margin of 14.3 seconds and third-place Penn by 15.6 seconds as the Crimson clocked in at 6:11.0.

The Crimson's second varsity eight recorded a 15.5 second victory over its two opponents, clocking in at 6:20.7. The third varsity followed suit, securing a 0.9 second victory over Navy, while Harvard's fourth varsity captured a 7.4 second win.

Up Next
Harvard will host its last regatta on the Charles River next Saturday, May 4, as the Crimson will take on Northeastern. The race will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
