Harvard crews placed 39 on IRA All-Academic squads.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Thirty-nine (39) members of the Harvard men's heavyweight, men's lightweight and Radcliffe lightweight crew teams earned Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) All-Academic distinction, as announced by the IRA Board of Stewards Thursday.
Twenty (20) from men's heavyweight crew - Alexander Richards, Andre Dempsey, Andrew Morley, Arthur Doyle, Benjamin Strathmore, Carter Dickinson, Cole Durbin, Curtis McLeod, David Ambler, David Fleming, James Clarke, Jennifer Kunes, John Luby, Lars Lorch, Liam Corrigan, Nicholas Plaut, Nicolas Yan, Pieter Quinton, Sam Hardy, and Samuel Meijer were honored.
Ten (10) from Radcliffe lightweight cew - Electra Lang, Ellie Bernstein, Gina Cusing, Gretchen Dougherty, Julia Baumel, Maria Boyle, Marissa Saenger, McKenzie Parks, Molly Lesser, and Tessa Buchan earned recognition.
Nine (9) from men's lightweight crew - Andrew Sterne, Andrew Wilkins, Chris Skokowski, David Wexner, Eryk Dobrushkin, Hunter Wallace, Jack Stone, Nick Barry, and Rob Lowe were also recognized.
For a student-athlete to be eligible, she/he must be at least a sophomore in standing and completed one full year at her/his respective institution; maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or higher; earned an institutional letter; and competed at the 2018 Intercollegiate Rowing Association Regatta.
