CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's heavyweight crew added Hugo Gulliver to its coaching staff for the 2014-15 season. A 2010 Oxford Brookes University graduate, Gulliver will also be completing a graduate level academic fellowship at The Institute For Rowing Leadership in Brighton, Massachusetts.

In 2013, Gulliver coached Latymer Upper School's junior women to victory at Henley Royal Regatta, setting three course records in the process. Also in 2013, he brought Latymer Upper a third junior women's title at the Schools' Head of the River and went on to coach successfully with the Great Britain Junior Rowing Team that summer.

Prior to coaching, Gulliver, a native of London, was a coxswain. In his final year of high school, he was selected for the Great Britain Junior Rowing Team.

After graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2010, Gulliver coached in New Zealand before returning to London to work as the head of girls' rowing at Latymer Upper School. He later went on to run the junior men's rowing program at Latymer while also coaching with a number of rowing programs, including at the University of London and the Great Britain Junior Team.
