ATLANTA – As the Crimson gets ready to tip off its 2019-20 season, senior Bryce Aiken has been named to the Citizen Naismith Trophy Watch List, as announced by the Atlanta Tipoff Club Nov. 4. Aiken is one of 50 players nationwide to earn a selection to the watch list, and is the only one represented from the Ivy League.

The Citizen Naismith Trophy is awarded annually to the men's player of the year in college basketball. The 50 nominees will be reduced to 30 in February, with the award itself set to be presented on April 5, 2020.

Aiken is Harvard's first watch list nominee since Wesley Saunders '15 prior to the 2014 campaign. The point guard averaged 22.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists a year ago, and was a unanimous All-Ivy League first team honoree.

Harvard opens the 2019-20 calendar against MIT on Tuesday, Nov. 5 on ESPN+.
