Siyani Chambers to Continue Professional Career in the Netherlands

Siyani Chambers '17 will play for the Heroes Den Boesch Titans this upcoming season. Den Boesch plays in the Dutch Basketball League and is based in Holland.

's-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands – After two professional seasons in Europe, former Harvard basketball captain, Siyani Chambers '17, has signed with the Heroes Den Boesch Titans of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL).

Chambers travels to the Netherlands after a one-year stint with the Giessen 46ers of the German easyCredit Basketball League. In 29 games with the 46ers, Chambers averaged 3.7 points and 2.8 assists in 14.4 minutes per game.

Chambers joins a roster that includes former Princeton forward Henry Caruso and Coastal Carolina standout Elijah Wilson. Brandyn Curry '13-14 also played for Den Boesch in 2014-15.

Chambers' first professional contract was with BC Raiffeisen Flyers of the Austrian Basketball League. In 34 games with the team, Chambers averaged 14.9 points and 5.3 assists a game. He earned an Austrian Bundesliga A all-star nod for his efforts.

The Golden Valley, Minnesota native was a two-time All-Ivy League first teamer and a two-time captain at Harvard. Chambers sits at 12th all-time in career points (1,287) and second in career assists (605) in the Harvard basketball record book.

As Chambers continues his professional career, he remains amongst an elite group of Crimson student-athletes playing professionally.
