ORLANDO, Fla. – Competing at HP Field House at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex, Harvard men's basketball will open the 2019 Orlando Invitational with Texas A&M on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN or ESPN2.

The 2019 Orlando Invitational, a bracket-format tournament, will feature 12 games over the three days. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a bracket-tournament format. The two teams that remain undefeated throughout will face off in a championship match Sunday, Dec. 1.

The matchup with the Aggies will be the first for the two teams in program history. The Crimson has tallied 16 wins over power conference opponents under Tommy Amaker, The Thomas G. Stemberg '71 Family Endowed Coach for Harvard Men's Basketball.

Harvard will face either Maryland or Temple in the second round, while USC, Fairfield, Marquette and Davidson populate the other side of the bracket. All games will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPNEWS.

The Crimson has had success in holiday tournaments under Tommy Amaker, winning the 2011 Battle 4 Atlantis and the 2013 Great Alaska Shootout. Harvard also advanced to the championship game at the 2015 Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii.
