Men’s Basketball Announces Five-Member Class of 2023

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Continuing to build its program with a talented group of five student-athletes, Harvard men's basketball has announced its class of 2023: Ciaran Brayboy, Chris Ledlum, Tommy O'Neil, Luka Sakota and Idan Tretout.

The incoming students span three states and one Canadian province, and join a Harvard program that has captured two consecutive Ivy League championships, and seven of the past nine. The Crimson posted a 19-12 mark in 2018-19, and advanced to the second round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) with a win over Georgetown.

Chris Ledlum | F | 6-6 | 225 | Staten Island, N.Y. | Northfield Mount Hermon (Mass.)
Three-year letterwinner at forward, two years at St. Peter's Boys and one at Northfield Mount Hermon … Competed on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit with the NY Jayhawks … Captained NMH team as a senior … 2019 NEPSAC AAA Player of the Year … 2019 Gatorade Massachusetts Player of the Year … Helped NMH win the 2019 NEPSAC Championship while earning Championship Game MVP honors … Set single-season (939) and single-game (51) scoring records at NMH … Also lettered in football as a wide receiver at St. Peter's Boys.

Four-year letterwinner for Kings Christian Collegiate … Competed on the Under Armour AAU circuit with Canada Elite … Four-year team captain … First team All-OSBA in 2019, second team selection in 2018 … Two-time Biosteel All-Canadian in 2018-19 … All-Canadian 3-point Shootout Champion in 2018 … U16 and U17 Canadian National Team member … Father, Dragisa, played volleyball in Division 1 Yugoslavian League.

Four-year starter at guard for Wilbraham & Monson … Won the 2018 Under Armour Association Challenge Championship with his New Heights AAU team … Team captain as a senior … First team All-NEPSAC as a senior, honorable mention as a junior … Scored 1,600 points over high school career … Also lettered on water polo and golf teams.
