PRINCETON, N.J. – Honored by the conference office for the third time this season, first-year guard Noah Kirkwood has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for Dec. 24-30. He is the first Harvard player to earn three Rookie of the Week awards in the same season since Seth Towns in 2016-17.
Kirkwood scored a team-high 19 points in Harvard's 71-67 victory over Mercer at State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks. The game was his second in a row with at least 19 points, and the third such outings in the last five games. The Ottawa, Ontario native went 8-for-12 from the field with three triples, while also adding four rebounds.
