Kirkwood Earns Third Ivy League Rookie of the Week Honor of the Season

PRINCETON, N.J. – Honored by the conference office for the third time this season, first-year guard Noah Kirkwood has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week for Dec. 24-30. He is the first Harvard player to earn three Rookie of the Week awards in the same season since Seth Towns in 2016-17.

Kirkwood scored a team-high 19 points in Harvard's 71-67 victory over Mercer at State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks. The game was his second in a row with at least 19 points, and the third such outings in the last five games. The Ottawa, Ontario native went 8-for-12 from the field with three triples, while also adding four rebounds.

Also the Rookie of the Week on Nov. 26 and Dec. 3, Kirkwood and the Crimson will travel to North Carolina on Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
