CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Adding to Harvard's slate of games on ESPN+, Harvard men's basketball will appear three times on the Ivy League's six-game ESPN linear package. The three games marks the most contests for any Ivy school.
The agreement opens Feb. 1 with Yale's visit to Lavietes Pavilion following the tilt between Penn and Cornell on ESPNU. Two weeks later, Harvard will travel to Princeton for a game on ESPNEWS Feb. 15, and the Crimson closes the package March 1 with Penn's trip to Cambridge March 1. The Crimson will also appear on ESPN2 or ESPNU for its trip to North Carolina Jan. 2.
Harvard was picked first in the Ivy League preseason poll a week ago, and the team returns all three All-Ivy selections from 2018 in Seth Towns, Chris Lewis and Justin Bassey, with Towns also earning Associated Press and Lou Henson All-America honors. Tommy Amaker leads the program in his 12th season as the Thomas G. Stemberg '71 Family Endowed Coach for Harvard Men's Basketball, and the Crimson will open the 2018-19 campaign at home against MIT Nov. 6.
