CAMBRIDGE, Mass – After a strong rookie campaign with the BC Raiffeisen Flyers Wels in the Austria-A Bundesliga, Siyani Chambers '17 is on the move to play for the Giessen 46ers in the German easyCredit BBL.
The former Harvard Basketball captain played 34 games during his rookie season with BC Raiffesen, averaging 14.9 points, 5.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Notably, he scored in double figures in 27 of 34 games, including a season-high 34 points against Klosterneuburg. He was also an Austrian Bundesliga A all-star and named to the Eurobasket.com All-Austrian League honorable mention.
The Golden Valley, Minnesota native was a two-time All-Ivy first team member and currently sits 12th all-time in career points (1,287), second in career assists (605) and fourth in games played (119).
With his move to Germany, Chambers continues playing amidst an elite group of Crimson student-athletes playing professionally.
