CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's basketball team has been honored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) with the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2017-18 season. The accolade is the fifth in a row for the program.
The Team Academic Excellence Award celebrates programs across all divisions that achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2017-18 academic year. This marks the fifth-straight year the Crimson has garnered the award, tying Yale for the most by an Ivy League school.
Harvard is one of 40 Division I programs to garner the award, which includes three Ivy League schools.
