Harvard Men's Basketball to Host Gathering for Sunday's NCAA Tournament Selection Show

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men's basketball team will learn its NCAA tournament opponent and destination during Sunday evening's Selection Show on CBS at 6 p.m.

The Crimson will host a Selection Show watch in Harvard's Hall of History in the Murr Center. All members of the Harvard community are invited to attend and cheer on the Crimson.

Harvard, which won its third straight Ivy League title, will be making its second consecutive appearance in the NCAA tournament after going 19-9 overall and 11-3 in conference play.

Led by head coach Tommy Amaker, the Crimson posted a 13-1 record at home and defeated Columbia and Cornell on the final weekend of the regular season to claim the conference crown.

Freshman Siyani Chambers was tabbed the Ivy League Rookie of the Year and joined sophomore Wesley Saunders on the all-conference first team. Junior co-captain Laurent Rivard and sophomore Steve Moundou-Missi garnered All-Ivy League honorable mention.
