Harvard has tied its program record with 23 victories this season (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard men's basketball team will host Penn at Lavietes Pavilion in the final home game of the regular season Saturday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. The game will be shown live on ESPN3.com.
The game, which is sold out, will feature a Harvard team that stands 23-3 overall and 9-1 in the Ivy League, good for first place in the conference, while Penn, currently in second place, enters the week 7-2 in the Ancient Eight and 15-11 overall. Two Harvard victories this week against Princeton and Penn would clinch at least a share of the Ivy League title for the Crimson.
Harvard has tied the program record with its 23 victories this season and has won 27 straight home contests, the second longest active streak in the country.
The Ivy League boasted three appearances on ESPN3 last season that drew a combined 85,017 unique viewers -- 13,494 for the March 5 Princeton at Harvard game, 17,074 for the March 8 Princeton at Penn game and 54,449 for the March 12 Harvard-Princeton playoff game in New Haven, Conn.
