CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard football landed an Ivy League- and District I-best six players on the 2019 Academic All-District Football Team, selected by CoSIDA, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
This year's recipients include senior wide receiver Jack Cook, senior linebacker Peter Graves, senior kicker Jake McIntyre, senior defensive lineman Brogan McPartland, junior tight end Ryan Reagan and senior defensive back Cole Thompson. For McIntyre, McPartland and Thompson, it was their second career All-Academic honor.
To be eligible for the All-District team, which includes student-athletes from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont, nominees must have a 3.30 cumulative GPA, have sophomore standing and be a significant contributor.
The six Harvard award winners now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot. First- and second-team (if applicable) Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
