CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Crimson defense intercepted four passes to carry the day at the annual spring game at Harvard Stadium Saturday evening.
Quarterback Jake Smith paced the day with four completions for 76 yards, including a touchdown, while Pat Holly also completed four passes for 62 yards. On defense, Mike Silva, Jake Brown, Cameron Kline and Jack McGowan each picked off a pass. Andrew Irwin paced the squad with six tackles.
Late in the first half, Jake Smith threw a 55-yard strike down the right sideline, finding Jack Cook for the score, the lone score of the game. Cook finished with two catches for 58 yards, while Cade Knox had two grabs for 39 yards.
Harvard will open its 2019 campaign at San Diego Saturday, Sept. 21.
