Miller Named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week

Miller led the Crimson to victory against Yale at Fenway Park (Gil Talbot).

PRINCETON, N.J. – Capping his career with a tremendous performance, senior captain Zach Miller has been named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week for Nov. 12-18, as announced by the league office on Monday.

A safety, Miller tallied a career-best two interceptions in a 45-27 win over Yale in the 135th playing of The Game. The Houston, Texas native also recorded five tackles on the afternoon at Fenway Park. Miller picked off Yale's third pass attempt of the game, and added his second in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Harvard finished the 2018 season in third place in the Ivy League at 6-4 overall with a 4-3 mark in Ivy League play.
