Shelton-Mosley, Lee Garner All-New England Recognition

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior Justice Shelton-Mosley and senior Tanner Lee have been selected to the All-New England football team, as announced by the Jack Grinold/Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation Monday.

Shelton-Mosley was selected as one of two special teams players this season. A three-time All-Ivy League first teamer on special teams, as well as an honorable mention choice as a receiver, Shelton-Mosley was among the nation's best punt returners. He averaged 18.8 yards per return, good for first in the Ancient Eight by 10 yards, as well as ranking third nationally. His two punt returns for touchdowns, including a program-record 91-yard effort at Georgetown, ties him for the most in the nation. He led Harvard with 110.7 all-purpose yards, a figure that ranked sixth in the conference.

Lee was selected to the All-New England Defensive Team. He is a two-time All-Ivy League honoree, as well as a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection. Lee had a career-best 54 tackles and a team-best three interceptions, ranking him tied for third in the conference. He returned one of those interceptions for a 39-yard touchdown in the win over Brown. The safety also had four pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. At the team banquet, he was honored with the Crocker (MVP) and Lamar (dedication to the program) Awards, becoming the first Harvard football player to receive both awards in the same year.

The entire All-New England football team will be honored at a banquet on December 5.
