CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the second-straight season, junior Justice Shelton-Mosley has been selected to the STATS FCS Preseason All-America third team, as announced by the organization Monday, July 31.
Shelton-Mosley earned a spot as an all-purpose player, as he is integral in the Crimson's pass attack, as well as return game. The Sacramento, California native was among the most productive players in the Ivy League last season, ranking second in the conference with a 71.0 receiving yards per game mark, supporting his 91.3 all-purpose yards. He went on to be a unanimous All-Ivy first team selection and earned a spot on the Fall 2016 Academic All-Ivy squad.
During his freshman season in 2015, Shelton-Mosley earned STATS FCS All-America third team accolades and was honored as a finalist for the organization's Freshman of the Year and earned the honor in the Ancient Eight.
He has caught at least 40 passes in each of his two seasons in Cambridge and has 1,157 career receiving yards entering his junior campaign. He also has a career kick-off return average of 27.5 yards and a 13.5 mark in the punt game.
Harvard will open its season on the road Sept. 16 at Rhode Island at 1 p.m.
