CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Anthony Fucillo has joined the Harvard football staff as an assistant defensive backs coach, Tim Murphy, The Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football, announced Wednesday.

Fucillo, who spent the last three seasons at Amherst College, has also enjoyed stints at WPI and Stonehill College.

"We are very excited about the addition of Anthony Fucillo to our coaching staff," said Murphy. "He brings a diverse resume from academic-athletic schools and he has strong Boston roots, so it is a great fit for all."

The quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator at Amherst, Fucillo was in charge of the passing game each week. He spent the 2013 season at WPI as the quarterbacks coach and pass game coordinator and was promoted to offensive coordinator before taking the position at Amherst.

During his previous stint with Amherst in 2012, Fucillo worked with the running backs and was as the tight end and fullbacks coach at Stonehill in 2011.
